I’m Elisa. Your energy and sleep nutritionist.

When your energy is steady and your sleep is solid, everything else becomes easier—perimenopause, metabolic and mental health, your resilience, your sense of self.

I’m not here for the narrative that midlife is a slow decline. It’s a recalibration. A shift in what your body needs so it can rise to the occasion again.

This chapter isn’t the end of anything. It’s the start of something new.

You’re not doomed to drag yourself through this season and “your labs are fine” shouldn’t be the end of the conversation. My approach to nutrition is holistic and evidence-based, hormone- and burnout-aware, and designed to help you rebuild steady energy without restriction or perfection.

I help women transform fatigue into sustainable energy, confidence, and clarity by restoring the balance between blood sugar, hormones, digestion, and stress.

If you’re done chasing quick fixes and ready to wake up rested, lead those afternoon meetings with ease, and still have the energy to cook something healthy (and delicious) at the end of the day—you’re in the right place.

Let me guess what landed you here.

You’re 35+, navigating a new world of perimenopause, and tired of feeling like exhaustion is your new personality. You want to crush it at work, feed yourself and your family without overthinking every bite, show up calm and present for your people—and still have energy left for fun (and intimacy) after dark.

That’s where I come in.

We get to the bottom of what’s really draining you so you can finally go back to that workout class you love so much, make those 15-minute meals you keep saving—whatever plans you keep cancelling in this cycle of fatigue.

But here’s the thing: we’re going to have a fabulous time doing it.

I’m not the nutritionist who’ll hand you a lifetime of supplements or tell you to skip takeout and girls’ nights. I’ll show you how to live in the real world with energy that lasts, food that excites you, and a system that feels doable no matter how busy life gets.

Because consistency always wins.

As one of my clients put it best: “Elisa’s program isn’t a crash diet—it’s a lifestyle shift.”

We’ll build habits inside your actual schedule, not in a vacuum. You’ll learn how to wake up rested without the crash, the guilt, the constant cravings, or the endless “shoulds.”

I call it the 14 Carrots Method because it’s about great food and the kind of easy, breezy, 14K gold life you deserve. It’s not (just) about eating carrots, and it's definitely not about counting them. Think of it like your favourite 14K gold bracelet: timeless, practical, and something you can wear every day and with anything. Your health habits should feel the same way.

This is about creating a life that shines from the inside out—built on approachable, doable foundations, and full of everyday energy that feels like you… just a little more vibrant, all the way through midlife and beyond.

My method is built on 5 key pillars:

  1. Joy Matters. If you’re not enjoying yourself, it’s not the right fit.

  2. Start Small, Go Big. We use simple tweaks that are multitasking for our metabolic and hormone health, and fit your life—not the other way around.

  3. It’s All Connected. Your body isn’t a collection of separate parts, it’s one beautifully intertwined system. When we rebuild your foundations from the inside out, your energy, sleep, and mood finally have something solid to stand on.

  4. Seasonal Living. Thoughtful adjustments through the year to help connect us to our environment and help the body’s natural rhythms flow.

  5. Food Freedom. We ditch the diet mindset and transform your relationship with food.

My Story (And Why This Is Personal)

My story didn’t start in a clinic—it started at fashion week.

I studied Kinesiology in university, dreaming of a career in sports medicine. But life had other plans, and fashion journalism found me first.

My first act took me across London, New York, and Toronto, producing shoots, covering runway shows, and building a career I loved. It was creative, fast-paced… and completely unsustainable.

I lived on Diet Coke and deadlines.

Behind the glossy bylines were exhaustion, body shame, and burnout I couldn’t outwork. At that point nutrition, to me, was just another diet to survive so I could fit into a sample size.

When I was 27, everything unraveled. My mom passed away from cancer and in the years that followed, I lost more close family members. I kept running—from grief, from exhaustion, from feeling. Even after pivoting into marketing, climbing the ladder, and collecting promotions, I only felt worse.

At one point, I remember thinking: What am I missing? I got sick plenty as a kid so what do I need to do to protect my longterm health? How could someone who seemed “healthy” feel this awful?

Those questions changed everything.

But my healing didn’t start perfectly. I dove into gut health, only to end up in a cycle of food fear, restriction, and juice cleanses that left me depleted. I tried cutting gluten, dairy, carbs, counting macros—anything that promised results. But I wasn’t actually nourishing myself for the energy I needed to thrive.

And, after a lifetime of being able to sleep anywhere, being awake from 3–4:30 a.m. became my new normal.

Meditation was my turning point. It showed me just how far my head had drifted from my body and how much I’d been ignoring what I truly needed. Mindfulness opened the door to real wellness. I learned how food fuels not just weight management or willpower, but energy, hormones, and healing. I found confidence in the kitchen, learned to support my nervous system, and reconnected with joy.

When I went back to school for nutrition (including 625 hours of training from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and certification from the American Council on Exercise), everything clicked. I finally understood how digestion, stress, blood sugar, and hormones intertwine—and how burnout shows up in our biology long before it shows up in our calendar.

Today, in my 40s, I have more energy, focus, and clarity than I ever did in my 20s.

I still love my morning coffee, a good glass of wine, and the occasional donut, but now I know how to support my body so those moments are part of a vibrant, balanced life—not what derails it.

And I know this is possible for you, too. Seriously. If I can go from a candy fiend with nothing but egg whites and salsa in my fridge to dancing my way through a full week of meal prep, you can too.
